Destination Organization: Space Saving Tips For Your RV

Tips and Tricks

Next stop, organization! Your RV has been designed so you can get the most out of its space. From bunkhouses to under-the-bed storage, it’s clear that organization is an important part of RVing. Having an organized rig is the end goal, and we’re providing our 9 RV organization tips to keep you rolling down the road in an orderly fashion.

1. FIND THE FLASHLIGHTS!

You could really use a flashlight right now. The campsite is dark and you can’t find where you set your keys! But your kids keep moving the flashlight and setting it in random places. Try using a broom holder to secure your flashlights and give them a permanent spot that is easy to find.

2. PAPER PLATE DISPENSER

This simple storage tip saves you cabinet space, and keeps plates at an easy-to-grab, stationary location. Keeping the plates in one spot is especially helpful for those hungry campers!

3. NESTING BOWLS

When you’re cooking in your RV, you will need the right materials. Having a good set of mixing bowls that fit together perfectly are what you need if you’re trying to get the most out of your kitchen storage area.

4. BACK OF THE CABINET DOOR

These small hanging organizers work great for storing small toiletries in your RV’s bathroom. You can also use Command hooks and PVC pipe to store your toothbrushes.

5. MASON JAR FOOD STORAGE

Installing these hanging mason jar containers under your cabinet is an effective and stylish way to store pretty much anything- from small items to dry foods, these jars have got you covered. Since you screw them into the bottom of your cabinet, they aren’t going anywhere while your RV is in motion.

6. KEEP YOUR ELECTRICAL ADAPTERS ORGANIZED

Taking care of your electrical adapters is important. After all, it’s what runs your AC on a hot summer night! Try hanging these hooks to keep your cords organized.

7. COLLAPSIBLE HANGERS

While you’re camping, you might not bring as many clothes as you want since your closet space is limited. With these instant hangers, you can extend your hanging space and make your closet bigger in a matter of seconds!

8. OVER THE DOOR HANGING WASTEBASKET

Wastebaskets aren’t very pretty to look at, and they clutter your free space in your RV. Try using this over the door hanging wastebasket to free up some space.

9. SOAP DISPENSER

Sometimes camping can get messy. Keeping the soap stationary while traveling and in one known place is always a good idea. Try mounting these soap dispensers in your bathroom and kitchen area.
