A Premium RV Buying Experience
The company’s roots trace back more than seventy years to Kueen’s Trailer Ranch, a locally founded business built on the belief that owning a camper should be simple, honest, and enjoyable. From the very beginning, the focus was clear: provide dependable recreational vehicles and stand behind every customer long after the sale.
As demand for RV travel grew, the business evolved into Webster City RV, expanding its inventory and relocating from the north side of Webster City to its well-known location along Highway 20. This move marked a significant expansion in both sales and service capabilities, allowing the dealership to better serve a growing community of RVers.
In 1996, the company entered a new chapter when Rod Ruppel acquired the business, continuing its tradition of family ownership while accelerating growth. Under Rod’s leadership, the organization expanded its reach with the addition of Story City RV and later Diamond Trail RV, strengthening its position as one of Iowa’s most comprehensive RV providers.
In 2019, leadership transitioned to the next generation as Adam Ruppel assumed ownership and operational leadership. While modernizing the business and expanding its capabilities, Adam remained committed to the principles that defined the company for decades: integrity, accountability, and treating customers like family.
The evolution culminated with the unification of all locations under a single name — Good Life RV. More than a brand, Good Life RV represents a lifestyle built around freedom, exploration, and creating lasting memories. It reflects the belief that RVing is about more than destinations — it’s about the journey and the people you share it with.
Today, Good Life RV operates full-service dealerships in Webster City and Des Moines, offering an extensive selection of new and used travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, bunkhouse models, and motorhomes from trusted manufacturers.
